Ensure all gas controls and supply valves are in the OFF position before starting installation.
List of tools and materials needed for side burner installation, including wrenches and sealant.
Remove right side work table, burner control knobs, and control panel.
Remove right side work table, serving tray, control knobs, safety button, and control panel.
Loosen right rear bolt, position lock over bolt, and tighten.
Loosen right front bolt, position lock between panels, and tighten.
Remove brass cap from side burner fitting using two adjustable wrenches.
Remove pipe plug from manifold using an adjustable wrench for brass or black plugs.
Apply pipe sealant to fitting and screw into manifold or elbow with a 5/8 inch wrench.
Slide burner assembly, route hose along frame, attach with 3/4 inch wrench, and check valve.
Use soap solution to check hose-to-manifold and hose-to-burner connections for leaks.
Slide side burner toward control panel until locks snap into slots at front and back.
Open lid, check fuel, ensure valves are OFF, turn LP tank ON.
Turn side burner valve ON and push igniter button multiple times.
Follow steps: open lid, turn valve ON, and push igniter button.
Check igniter wire, tighten lock nut, and adjust electrode gap to 1/8-3/16 inch.
