1.2 Machine Description
The tampers of the SRV 62/SRV66 series are used for the compaction of crushed stone and sand on flat
surfaces and for canal construction work.
The SRV 62/66 tamper is driven by a 4-stroke Honda/ Robin gasoline engine (1/7).

whole machine.
Function
Operation
The tamper consists of the upper tamper part (1/10) and the lower tamper part (1/11) with tamping shoe
(1/8).The machine is steered by means of the handle (1/4). The engine speed and thus the working speed is adjusted
with the lever (1/3).
The engine is started with the reversible starter (1/6). Fuel is taken out of the fuel tank (1/1).
Via a centrifugal clutch, the engine (1/7) directly drives the tamping system and sets it vibrating. The tamping shoe
performs the vibration work.
