BLOWER TUBE
The
BLOWER TUBE is des igned to dire ct
the flow of air.
INLET RESTRICTOR
The
INLET RESTRICTOR improves the
blower function.
TUBE RELEASE BUTT ON
The
TUBE RELEASE BUTTON secures the
bl ow er tube or elbow tube to t he blower
unit duri ng operation. Also, pressing the
tube release button allows removal of the
blower tube or elbow t ube.
WARNING: You MUST mak e sure
the tubes are secure before using the
unit.
WARNING: Do not use the unit
wit hout the tubes or collecti on bag proper-
ly att ached to avoid flying debri s and/or
impell er cont act which can cause serious
in j u ry. Always wear eye pr otection to pre-
vent rocks or debri s from being blown or
ri cocheting i nt o the eyes and f ace which
can result in blindness or seri ous i njur y.
STOPPING YOUR UNIT
Slide the
ON/OFF switch to the OFF
position.
STARTING YOUR UNIT
Your unit has two run positions,
LOW
and HIGH. Slide the s witch to one of
these positions to turn on the unit.

USING YOUR UNIT AS A BLOWER
WARNING: Inspect the area be-
fore using the unit. Remove all debris
and hard objects such as rocks, glas s,
wire, etc., that can ricoc het, be thrown,
or otherwise caus e injury or damage
during operation.
Use your unit as a blower for:
D Sweeping debris or grass clippings from
driveways, sidewalks, patios, etc.
D Blowing grass clippings, straw, or leaves
into piles, or removing debris from cor-
ners, around join ts, or between bricks.
Direct air flow by directing the blower
tube down or to one side. Al ways wor k
away from solid object s such as wal ks,
lar ge stones, vehicles, and fences.
Cl ea n c orners by startin g in cor ne rs and
moving outw ard. This wi ll help prevent
an accumulation of debris which could
fly into your face.
Be careful when w orking near pl a nts.

USING YOUR UNIT AS A VACUUM
WARNING: Do not vacu um
stones, gravel, metal, broken glass,
etc., to avoid severe damage to the im-
peller. To avoid the possibility of electri-
cal s hock , do not attempt to vacuum wa-
ter or other liquids.
Use your unit as a vacuum to pick up
dry material such as leaves, grass,
small twigs, and bits of paper.
D For best results during vacuum use,
operate your unit at high speed.
D Move slowly back and forth over the
material as y ou vacuum. Avoid forc-
ing the unit into a pile of debris as
this can clog the unit.
D Keep t he vacuum tube about an i nch
above the ground for best result s.
WARNING: If the unit becomes
clogged, stop the unit and unplug the ex-
tension cord. Wait until the impeller has
completely stopped turning, then re-
move the vacuum tubes. Carefully
reach into the vacuum opening and
clear out the clogged debris.
