Why is my Wen Dust Collector having performance problems?
    • A
      Anthony WilsonJul 29, 2025
If your Wen Dust Collector isn't performing well, there might be a blockage at the inlet or outlet. Turn off and unplug the unit, then clear any obstructions. Also, check if the filter bag is full; if so, empty it. The filter bag may also need cleaning—turn it inside out to remove dust. Ensure your hose isn't too long, narrow, or twisted, and use a 4" diameter hose if possible, keeping it as short as possible and avoiding bends. Finally, inspect the inlet or outlet gasket and replace it if it has failed.

How to troubleshoot a Wen Dust Collector that does not start?
    • J
      Jessica SmithAug 6, 2025
If your Wen Dust Collector isn't starting, first, make sure it's properly plugged in. Check the extension cord size and use the correct one. Wait a few minutes, then push the onboard circuit breaker to reset it. If these steps don't work, there may be a bad switch or motor, and you should contact WEN customer service.

      William LopezAug 12, 2025
If your Wen Dust Collector hums but doesn't start, turn it off and unplug it. Check if there is a blockage and ensure the impeller rotates freely. If not, the start capacitor, centrifugal switch, or motor may be faulty, and you should contact WEN customer service.

    • S
      Susan HinesAug 19, 2025
If you hear a clicking sound during the startup or shutdown of your Wen Dust Collector, it's likely the centrifugal switch. This is normal and doesn't indicate a problem.
