Why is my Wen DW6395 Sander motor not working?

  If the motor of your Wen sander isn't working, it could be due to loose wires in the main plug or a faulty switch. Stop using the tool and contact customer service at 1-(800) 232-1195, M-F 8-5 CST for assistance. Another potential cause is worn brushes. Check and replace the brushes if needed.

What to do if my Wen DW6395 motor gets too hot?

  If your Wen sander motor is getting excessively hot, it might be due to foreign substances inside the motor. Unplug the unit and inspect for any foreign substances, removing them if found. Another possible cause is applying too high of a load. In this case, let the unit rest for a few minutes and use less pressure during sanding.
