How to turn on Weslo Treadmill?
    • R
      Raymond MoralesJul 31, 2025
First, ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a properly earthed outlet. If you need an extension cord, use only a 3-conductor, 1 mm[2] (14-gauge) cord no longer than 1.5 m (5 ft.). Note that the Weslo Treadmill isn't compatible with GFCI-equipped outlets. Also, make sure the key is inserted into the console after plugging in the power cord. Check the circuit breaker located near the power cord; if the switch protrudes, the breaker has tripped. Wait five minutes, then press the switch to reset it. Finally, check that the on/off switch near the power cord is in the 'on' position.

Why does my Weslo Treadmill walking belt slow down when I walk on it?
    • P
      Patricia GoodmanAug 23, 2025
If the walking belt on your Weslo Treadmill slows down when you walk on it, ensure you are using the correct power cord. If you need an extension cord, use only a 3-conductor, 1mm[2] (14-gauge) cord that is no longer than 1.5 m (5 ft.). If the walking belt is overtightened, it can decrease performance and damage the belt. To correct this, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Use a hex key to turn both rear roller bolts counterclockwise 1/4 of a turn. When properly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the belt 2 to 3 inches off the platform. Keep the belt centered. Plug the power cord back in, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until properly tightened.

If the belt has shifted to the right, turn the left rear roller bolt counterclockwise 1/2 of a turn. Plug the power cord back in, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes.
