How to turn on Weslo Treadmill?
    • C
      Carrie SheltonJul 31, 2025
First, ensure the power cord is properly plugged into a grounded outlet. If needed, use a 3-conductor, 14-gauge extension cord no longer than 1.5 meters (5 ft.). Note that the Weslo Treadmill isn't compatible with GFCI outlets. Next, make sure the key is fully inserted into the console. Check the circuit breaker near the power cord; if it's tripped (switch protrudes), wait five minutes, then press the switch to reset it. Finally, verify the on/off switch near the power cord is in the 'on' position.

What to do if Weslo Cadence 80 walking belt is off-centre or slips?
    • T
      Thomas FischerAug 8, 2025
If the walking belt on your Weslo Treadmill is off-center, remove the key and unplug the power cord. If the belt has shifted left, turn the left rear roller bolt clockwise 1/2 turn; if it's shifted right, turn it counterclockwise 1/2 turn. Avoid overtightening. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill briefly. If the walking belt slips, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Turn both rear roller bolts clockwise 1/4 turn. The belt should allow you to lift each side 8–10cm (3–4 in.) off the platform when correctly tightened. Keep the belt centered. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and test the treadmill.

Why does Weslo Cadence 80 walking belt slow down when I walk on it?
    • D
      Danny GriffinAug 14, 2025
If the walking belt on your Weslo Treadmill slows down when you walk on it, make sure you are using a proper extension cord, if one is needed. Use only a 3-conductor, 14-gauge cord that is no longer than 1.5 meters (5 ft). If the walking belt is too tight, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Use a hex key to turn both rear roller adjustment bolts counterclockwise 1/4 turn. When properly tightened, you should be able to lift each side of the belt 8–10cm (3–4 in.) off the platform. Keep the belt centered. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes.

Why does my Weslo Cadence 80 Treadmill turn off during use?
    • D
      Derek TownsendAug 22, 2025
If your Weslo Treadmill turns off during use, first check the circuit breaker near the power cord. If it has tripped, wait five minutes before resetting it. Ensure the power cord is securely plugged in; if it is, unplug it, wait five minutes, and plug it back in. Also, remove and reinsert the key fully into the console. Finally, verify that the on/off switch is in the 'on' position.
