How to fix Weslo Cadence C 8 Treadmill when the power does not turn on?
    • D
      Daniel FloresJul 31, 2025
To troubleshoot why the Weslo Treadmill power isn't turning on: * Ensure the power cord is plugged into a properly earthed outlet. If you need an extension cord, use only a 3-conductor, 1 mm[2] (14-gauge) cord no longer than 1.5 m (5 ft.). Note that the treadmill isn't compatible with GFCI-equipped outlets. * Make sure the key is inserted into the console after plugging in the power cord. * Check the circuit breaker near the power cord. If the switch protrudes, the breaker has tripped. Wait five minutes, then press the switch back in to reset it. * Verify the on/off switch near the power cord is in the "on" position.

What to do if Weslo Cadence C 8 walking belt is off-center or slips?
    • C
      Carol AndradeAug 6, 2025
To fix a Weslo Treadmill walking belt that's off-center or slips: * First, remove the key and unplug the power cord. * If the belt is off-center to the left, turn the left rear roller bolt clockwise 1/2 turn with a hex key. If it's off-center to the right, turn the bolt counterclockwise 1/2 turn. Avoid overtightening. * If the belt slips, turn both rear roller bolts clockwise 1/4 turn using the hex key. Correct tightness allows lifting each edge of the belt 5 to 7 cm (2 to 3 in.) off the platform. Keep the belt centered. * Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and walk on the treadmill for a few minutes to test. Repeat adjustments until the belt is properly aligned and tightened.

Why does the Weslo Cadence C 8 walking belt slow down when I walk on it?
    • L
      laurahessAug 11, 2025
If the Weslo Treadmill walking belt slows down when you walk on it: * Ensure you're using a suitable extension cord, if needed—it should be a 3-conductor, 1mm[2] (14-gauge) cord no longer than 1.5 m (5 ft.). * If the walking belt is too tight, it can reduce performance and cause damage. To adjust, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Use a hex key to turn both rear roller bolts counterclockwise 1/4 of a turn. The belt should be tight enough to allow lifting each edge 5 to 7 cm (2 to 3 in.) off the platform. Keep the belt centered. Plug the cord back in, insert the key, and test. Repeat until properly tightened. * If the issue continues, refer to the front cover of the manual.

How to troubleshoot Weslo Treadmill console displays that don't function properly?
    • D
      Dustin DrakeAug 25, 2025
If the console displays on your Weslo Treadmill aren't working right: * Remove the key and unplug the power cord. * Take out the two Foot Rail Screws and the two Screws, then carefully remove the Hood. * Find the Reed Switch and the Magnet on the left side of the Pulley. Rotate the Pulley until the Magnet lines up with the Reed Switch, leaving a gap of about 3 mm (1/8 in.). Adjust if needed, then tighten the Screw. Reattach the Hood, and run the treadmill briefly to check the speed reading.
