How to fix Weslo Cadence 70 Treadmill if the power does not turn on?
    • K
      ktaylorJul 31, 2025
If your Weslo Treadmill power does not turn on, consider the following: * Ensure the power cord is plugged into a properly earthed outlet. If using an extension cord, it should be a 3-conductor, 1 mm[2] (14-gauge) cord no longer than 1.5 m (5 ft.). Note: This treadmill isn't compatible with GFCI-equipped outlets. * Check that the key is fully inserted into the console. * Examine the circuit breaker near the power cord. If tripped, wait five minutes before pressing the switch back in to reset it. * Confirm the on/off switch near the power cord is in the 'on' position.

What to do if Weslo Cadence 70 walking belt slips when walked on?
    • D
      Diane WilcoxAug 11, 2025
If the walking belt slips when walked on your Weslo Treadmill, first remove the key and unplug the power cord. Then, use the hex key to turn both rear roller bolts clockwise, 1/4 of a turn. The walking belt is correctly tightened when you can lift each side 8–10cm (3–4 in.) off the walking platform. Keep the walking belt centered. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and walk on the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until the walking belt is properly tightened.

If the walking belt is off-centre on your Weslo Treadmill, remove the key and unplug the power cord. If the belt has shifted left, turn the left rear roller bolt clockwise 1/2 turn. If it has shifted right, turn the left rear roller bolt counterclockwise 1/2 turn. Avoid overtightening. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until the belt is centred.

Why does my Weslo Cadence 70 walking belt slow when walked on?
    • G
      George SantiagoAug 25, 2025
There are a couple of things to check if your Weslo Treadmill walking belt slows down when you walk on it: * If you're using an extension cord, make sure it's a 3-conductor, 1mm[2] (14-gauge) cord that is no longer than 1.5 m (5 ft.). * If the walking belt is overtightened, it can decrease performance and damage the belt. To correct this, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Use the hex key to turn both rear roller adjustment bolts counterclockwise, 1/4 of a turn. When properly tightened, you should be able to lift each side of the belt 8–10cm (3–4 in.) off the platform. Keep the belt centered. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until properly tightened.
