What to do if my Westinghouse Inverter engine will not start?
- BBrittany KrauseJul 28, 2025
If your Westinghouse Inverter engine won't start, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the inverter has gasoline. If it does, inspect and clean the fuel delivery passages for any obstructions. Also, check and clean the air filter. Verify the oil level and add oil if necessary, as a low oil level shutdown switch might be preventing the unit from starting. Make sure the spark plug boot is fully engaged with the spark plug tip. Remove and check the spark plug, replacing it if faulty. Check and clean the spark arrestor. Finally, drain any stale fuel and replace it with fresh fuel.
