Accuracy Rating
This torque wrench is certified to have been calibrated prior to the shipment to the accuracy of "4% CW and "6%
CCW readings on values between 20% to 100% of capacity.
General Information
1. If the torque wrench has not been used or has been in storage for some time, operate it several times at a low
torque setting to permit the internal lubricant to re-coat working parts.
2. Do not turn the handle below the minimum torque setting or above the maximum torque setting.
3. Do not continue to apply pressure to the wrench after torque setting has been reached. Pressure must be taken
off the handle and the wrench allowed to automatically reset itself. If you continue to apply pressure after the
wrench has clicked or reached the torque setting, damage may occur to the wrench or to the threaded fastener
you are working on.
4. When applying pressure to the wrench, hold by the grip only. Never apply pressure to the body of the wrench.
5. If at high torque settings both hands are necessary to apply enough pressure, hold the grip in one hand and put
the other hand on top of the first hand.
A handle extension MUST NOT BE USED under any circumstances. The use of a handle
extension may result in erroneous torque readings and may damage the grip or the adjusting mechanism.
