First Time Use: Salt, Rinse Aid, and Detergent
Filling the Salt Reservoir: The salt reservoir prevents limescale formation and must never be empty. It is located in the lower part of the dishwasher. To fill, remove the lower rack, unscrew the cap, and pour water (first time only) followed by approximately 1 kg of dishwasher salt using a funnel. Ensure the cap is screwed on tightly to prevent detergent from entering. Always refill before starting a wash cycle to avoid corrosion.
Setting the Water Hardness: Proper water hardness setting is crucial for the water softener's effectiveness. This information can be obtained from your local water supplier. To set, switch the appliance on and off, then hold the START/Pause button for 5 seconds until a beep is heard. Switch the appliance on again, and the current selection level number and salt indicator light will flash. Use the P button to select the desired hardness level according to the provided Water Hardness Table, which ranges from Level 1 (Soft) to Level 5 (Very hard). After selection, switch the appliance off. Running a program without loading is recommended after this procedure.
Filling the Rinse Aid Dispenser: Rinse aid facilitates drying. The dispenser (A) should be refilled when the RINSE AID REFILL indicator light is lit. Open the dispenser by pressing and pulling up the tab on the lid, pour in up to 110 ml of rinse aid, and close the lid until it clicks. Avoid pouring rinse aid directly into the tub.
Adjusting the Dosage of Rinse Aid: If drying results are unsatisfactory, the rinse aid quantity can be adjusted. Switch the dishwasher on and off, press START/Pause three times until a beep is heard, then switch it on again. The current selection level number and rinse aid indicator light will flash. Use the P button to select the desired quantity level (1-5). Level 1 (ECO) supplies no rinse aid. If bluish streaks appear, set a lower number (2-3); if water drops or limescale marks are present, set a mid-range number (4-5). Switch the appliance off to complete the setting.
Filling the Detergent Dispenser: Open the detergent dispenser using device C. Introduce detergent into the dry dispenser D, using the indications for proper dosing. Remove any residues from the edges and close the cover until it clicks. If using all-in-one detergents, the TABLET button is recommended for optimal washing and drying. Do not use detergents not designed for dishwashers.
Programs Table and Description
The dishwasher offers several programs:
- Eco (50°C): Suitable for normally soiled tableware, this is the most efficient program in terms of combined energy and water consumption, complying with EU Ecodesign legislation. It has a duration of 3:10, consumes 9.5 liters of water, and 0.95 kWh of energy.

- Rapid 30' (50°C): For half loads of lightly soiled dishes with no dried food residues. This program does not include a drying phase. Duration: 0:30, water consumption: 9.0 liters, energy consumption: 0.55 kWh.
- Pre-Wash: Used to refresh crockery planned for later washing. No detergent is needed. Duration: 0:12, water consumption: 4.5 liters, energy consumption: 0.01 kWh.
Program durations, water, and energy consumption values are indicative and may vary based on factors like water temperature, detergent amount, load type, and selected options.
Options and Functions
- Half Load (1/2): Saves water, electricity, and detergent for smaller loads. Select a program, then press the HALF LOAD button. Remember to halve the detergent amount.
- Keylock: A long press (3 seconds) of the HALF LOAD button activates the Keylock, blocking the control panel except for the ON/OFF button. Long press again to deactivate.
- Water Tap Closed – Alarm: Flashes when there is no inlet water or the tap is closed.
- Sani Rinse: Increases the final rinse temperature and adds an antibacterial wash. Ideal for sanitizing crockery and feeding bottles. The dishwasher door must remain shut for the entire program. Crockery may be extremely hot at the end of the cycle.
- Tablet (Tab): Optimizes program performance for combined detergents in tablet form. Press the SANI RINSE button for 3 seconds to activate. Should be off for powder or liquid detergents.
- Delay (h.): Delays program start from 0:30 to 24 hours. Press the DELAY button repeatedly to set the delay. The timer counts down, and the program starts automatically. Cannot be set once a program has started.
- Drain Out: Stops and cancels the active cycle, draining water from the dishwasher. Activated by a long press of the START/PAUSE button.
- NaturalDry: A convection drying system that automatically opens the door during/after the drying phase for exceptional drying. The door opens at a temperature safe for kitchen furniture and will not open if SANI RINSE is active. A special protection foil is included for additional steam protection. NaturalDry can be disabled/enabled via a specific sequence of ON/OFF and P button presses.
Loading the Racks
Upper Rack: Designed for delicate and light dishes like glasses, cups, saucers, and low salad bowls.
Adjusting the Height of the Upper Rack: The upper rack features a height adjuster. To raise, simply lift the rack sides until stable. To lower, press levers (A) on the sides and move the basket downwards. It is recommended not to adjust the height when the rack is loaded, and never on one side only.
Foldable Flaps with Adjustable Position: Side foldable flaps optimize crockery arrangement. Wine glasses can be placed by inserting stems into slots. Flaps can be unfolded by sliding up and rotating or releasing from snaps, and folded by rotating and sliding down or pulling up to attach to snaps.
Lower Rack: For pots, lids, plates, salad bowls, and cutlery. Large plates and lids should be placed at the sides to avoid interference with the spray arm. Tip-up supports can be used vertically for plates or horizontally for pans and salad bowls.
Cutlery Basket: Equipped with top grilles for improved cutlery arrangement. Position the cutlery basket at the front of the lower rack. Knives and sharp utensils should be placed points downwards in the cutlery basket or horizontally in the upper rack's tip-up compartments.

Advice and Tips
Tips: Remove food residues and empty glasses before loading. No pre-rinsing under running water is needed. Arrange crockery firmly, with openings facing downwards. Ensure spray arms can rotate freely. Place small items in the cutlery basket. Heavily soiled dishes go in the lower basket.
Unsuitable Crockery: Avoid wooden items, delicate decorated glasses, artistic handicraft, antique crockery, synthetic materials not resistant to high temperatures, copper, tin, and crockery soiled with ash, wax, grease, or ink. Glass decorations and aluminum/silver may change color over time.
Damage to Glass and Crockery: Use only dishwasher-safe items and delicate detergent. Remove glasses and cutlery promptly after the cycle.
Tips on Energy Saving: Dishwashing consumes less energy and water than hand washing. Maximize efficiency by initiating wash cycles with a full load. Use dedicated wash options for partial loads. Incorrect loading or overloading increases resource usage. Manual pre-rinsing is not recommended.
Hygiene: Run a high-temperature program at least once a month with a teaspoon of detergent and no load to prevent odor and sediment.
Care and Maintenance
Cleaning the Filter Assembly: Regularly clean the filter assembly (three filters: cylindrical A, cup B, stainless-steel plate C) to prevent clogging and ensure proper water flow. The dishwasher must not be used without filters or if they are loose. Check and clean the filters monthly or after 30 cycles under running water with a non-metallic brush. Remove cylindrical filter A by turning anti-clockwise, then remove cup filter B and slide out plate filter C. Remove any foreign objects and food residues. Never remove the wash-cycle pump protection. Reassemble correctly after cleaning.
Cleaning the Spray Arms: Food residue can encrust and block spray arm holes. Check and clean them periodically with a small non-metallic brush. To remove the upper spray arm, turn the plastic locking ring. Ensure the side with more holes faces upwards when replacing. The lower spray arm can be removed by pulling it upwards.
Water Softening System: Automatically reduces water hardness, preventing scale buildup and improving cleaning efficiency. The system regenerates with salt, requiring refilling when the salt container is empty. Regeneration frequency depends on water hardness level (e.g., once per 6 Eco cycles for level 3 hardness). Regeneration starts in the final rinse and finishes in the drying phase, consuming ~3.5L of water, taking up to 5 additional minutes, and consuming below 0.005kWh of energy.
Cleaning the Water Inlet Hose: If water hoses are new or unused for an extended period, let water run until clear before connecting to prevent blockages.
Troubleshooting
The document provides a comprehensive troubleshooting guide for common issues:
- Salt indicator lit: Salt reservoir is empty. Refill salt and adjust water hardness.
- Rinse aid indicator lit: Rinse aid dispenser is empty. Refill rinse aid.
- Dishwasher won't start/respond: Check plug, power, door closure, NaturalDry pin, and if the cycle was interrupted.
- Dishwasher won't drain (F3, On/Off & START/Pause LEDs blinking): Check if the cycle finished, drain hose is bent, sink drain pipe is blocked, or filter is clogged.
- Excessive noise: Crockery rattling or excessive foam.
- Dishes not clean: Crockery arranged improperly, spray arms hindered, cycle too gentle, excessive foam, rinse aid cap not shut, filter soiled, or no salt.
- Dishwasher won't fill (F6, On/Off & START/Pause LEDs blinking): No water supply, tap closed, inlet hose bent, or sieve clogged.
- Dishwasher finishes prematurely (F15, On/Off & START/Pause LEDs blinking): Drain hose positioned too low or siphoning, or air in water supply.
