  If your Whirlpool Washer load is not rinsed properly, ensure that the hot and cold inlet hoses are not reversed and that both hoses are attached with water flowing to the inlet valve. Both hot and cold water faucets must be on. Check if the inlet valve screens on the washer are clogged and remove any kinks in the inlet hose. Using too much detergent can also prevent proper rinsing, so always measure detergent and follow directions based on load size and soil level. The washer is less efficient at rinsing when the load is tightly packed, so load garments in loose heaps evenly around the basket wall. Choose a load size (water level) that matches the load being washed.
