Why is my Whirlpool Dryer load too hot?
    • R
      Robert NguyenSep 23, 2025
If your Whirlpool Dryer load is too hot, allow the Cool Down cycle to finish before removing laundry from the dryer. All cycles are cooled slowly to reduce wrinkling and make it easier to handle. If a high temperature cycle was used, select a lower temperature and use an automatic drying cycle to reduce overdrying.

Why is there no heat in my Whirlpool Dryer?
    • A
      Ashley MartinAug 25, 2025
If your Whirlpool Dryer isn't producing heat, check your household fuses or circuit breakers. Electric dryers use two fuses or circuit breakers, so replace both fuses or reset the circuit breaker. If the problem continues, call an electrician. For gas dryers, make sure the valve is open on the supply line. Also, electric dryers require a 240-volt power supply; check with a qualified electrician to ensure proper voltage.

How to improve cleaning and stain removal in my Whirlpool WET4024HW Washer/Dryer?
    • N
      nolsonAug 25, 2025
If your Whirlpool Washer/Dryer is not cleaning or removing stains effectively, avoid tightly packing the load and load garments in loose heaps evenly around the basket wall, using dry items only. Add detergent, oxi products, and color-safe bleach to the bottom of the basket before adding the load items.

      josephsnyderAug 27, 2025
If your laundry is tangling in your Whirlpool Washer/Dryer, load garments in loose heaps evenly around the basket wall. Reduce tangling by mixing types of load items. Use the recommended cycle for the type of garments being washed.

Why does my Whirlpool Dryer smell?
    • A
      Audrey RossAug 27, 2025
If your Whirlpool Dryer has odors and you have recently been painting, staining, or varnishing in the area, ventilate the area. When the odors or fumes are gone from the area, rewash and dry the clothing. If the electric dryer is being used for the first time, the new electric heating element may have an odor that will disappear after the first cycle.

What causes stains on my Whirlpool Dryer load or drum?
    • J
      Justin WyattSep 15, 2025
If there are stains on your Whirlpool Dryer load or drum, add dryer fabric softener sheets at the beginning of the cycle, as fabric softener sheets added to a partially dried load can stain garments. Drum stains are caused by dyes in clothing and will not transfer to other clothing.

Why does the water level seem too low in my Whirlpool Washer/Dryer?
    • K
      kristen36Sep 12, 2025
If the water level seems too low, or the Whirlpool Washer/Dryer appears to not fill completely, this is normal and necessary for clothes to move freely. The top of the agitator is much higher than the highest water level.

Why is there lint on my Whirlpool Dryer load?
    • J
      jordanmartinSep 14, 2025
If there is lint on your Whirlpool Dryer load, the lint screen should be cleaned before each load.
  • D
    Debra BaileySep 5, 2025
Why is my Whirlpool WET4024HW Washer/Dryer load not rinsed properly?
    • K
      Kathryn GonzalezSep 5, 2025
If your Whirlpool Washer/Dryer load is not rinsed properly, check that the hot and cold inlet hoses are not reversed and that both hoses are attached with water flowing to the inlet valve. Ensure both hot and cold water faucets are turned ON. Inspect the inlet valve screens for clogs. Remove any kinks in the inlet hose. Always measure detergent and follow directions based on load size and soil level. Load garments in loose heaps evenly around the basket wall, using dry items only. Use a cycle designed for the fabrics being washed and add only 1 or 2 garments after the washer has started.

Why are the wash and rinse temperatures wrong in my Whirlpool WET4024HW Washer/Dryer?
    • D
      Devin LuceroSep 3, 2025
If you're experiencing incorrect wash or rinse temperatures with your Whirlpool Washer/Dryer, first, check that the hot and cold inlet hoses are not reversed. Ensure both hoses are attached to both the washer and faucet, and that both hot and cold water are flowing to the inlet valve. Check that the inlet valve screens are not clogged and remove any kinks in the hoses. Note that this washer uses cooler wash and rinse water temperatures than older models, including cooler hot and warm washes, due to energy-saving controlled wash temperatures.
