Setup – Special features for Expert Program manipulation.
Excludes – Apply chosen categories of selections stored in COMMON to any Program.
Comment – Apply a personal custom comment to any Program.
Program - Choose a program to add a comment.
Comment – MENU/TAB to Comment, press ENTER, use arrow and ENTER keys to
spell out the comment.
Exit – MENU/TAB to Exit, press ENTER to exit.
Library – Manipulate Library Programs.
Store – Store a new Program in the Library or replace an existing Library Program.
Rename – Change the name of an existing Library Program.
Erase – Delete a custom Library Program. Factory standard Library Programs cannot be deleted.
DISCRIMINATION – Choose features that are used in the rejection of
unwanted trash metals.
Visual Reject – “X” Prevents rejected VDI numbers and their associated
Icons from appearing on display during searching.
Bottle Cap Reject – (Off – 20) – Adjusts iron rejection (how aggressively iron
is rejected). 20 = most aggressive iron rejection, 1 = least, off = no added
iron bias.
Hot Rock – (OFF - +10) – Adjust mineral anomalies (VDI +95) cancellation or identifi cation (hot rock)
rejection. -10 = most aggressive, off = no additional hot rock bias (all VDI numbers treated equally),
+10 = slight increase in +95 signal strength.
VDI Selected By – Selects different methods of adjusting trash metal rejection.
Level – Provides a linear adjustment much like a control knob, below selection rejects, above
accepts.
Reject Level – Set the VDI numbers that “at” and <less than> are rejected.
Icon – Select trash rejection using the icons and their selected VDI ranges.
Edit – Press ENTER, “X” box = accepted. Empty box = rejected. Use arrow up and down and
ENTER to accept or reject by Icon ranges. Note, each Icon’s VDI ranges can be adjusted under
Icon Table, Custom/Edit.
V.D.I. – Select trash rejection by specifi c VDI number.
Edit – Press ENTER, “X” box = accepted. Empty box = rejected. Use arrow up and down and
ENTER to accept or reject by VDI number. Hold ENTER + ARROW to drag accept thru large
range changes.
Graph – Select trash rejection using a graph and VDI number reference.
Edit – Press Enter, use arrow left and right to see VDI number range and graph. At any given VDI
number arrow up accepts, arrow down rejects, shown on graph.
Icon Table – Select sets of Icons specifi c to different types of searching.
Park – Icon set typical for parks and general coin shooting, common coins, jewelry, and trash.
Relic – Icon set suitable for historic areas, bullets, buckles, and iron.
Prospecting – Icon set suitable for gold prospecting, nuggets, hot rocks, iron.
