STARTING

THREADING
YOUR
MACHINE
Wrong
threading
may
cause
skipped
stitches,
breaking
threads,
or
other
problems.
Try
to
master
the
correct
threading
before
moving
on
to
test
sewing.
Threading
must
be
carried
out
in
the
sequence
of
Upper
Looper—
Lower
Looper—
Needle.

UPPER
LOOPER
To
re-thread
lower
looper
while
sewin

remove
thread
from
needle
eye
first,
ther
re-thread
the
lower
looper.
This
will
preve
tangling.
Open
the
front
cover
and
the
side
cove
beforehand.
Raise
needle
bar
to
its
highest
point
b
turning
hand
wheel
towards
you.
Feed
the
thread
through
the
thread
guide
as
illustrated.
Press
down
tension
release
lever
and,
holding
it
in
this
position,
lead
the
upper
thread
through
the
slot,
making
sure
the
thread
passes
between
the
tension
discs.
