days
Acute or chronic dizziness

MRI) or radiation treatments. Other types of radiation, such
as that in a microwave oven, can also damage your hearing
aid.
Widex hearing aids are not certified for use in mines or other
areas with explosive gases.
WARNING
(Warnings) In rare situations, the performance of the CLEAR
hearing aids and/or the DEX may be affected by other devic-
es emitting a much stronger EM field. For example, radiation
from room surveillance equipment, burglar alarms and mo-
bile phones may cause interference. Some mobile phone dis-
plays and computer monitors could interfere with the wire-
less functions when the hearing aids are within a few cm from
them. While the hearing aids are still functional, the commu-
nications between the hearing aids may be temporarily sus-
pended until the wearers remove themselves from the vicin-
ity of the stronger EM field. A message “partner check” may
be audible. Keep at least a distance of 15 cm from these po-
tential interfering sources.
