7.2 Measuring mode
7.2.1 Pressure unit
The CPG1200 is factory preset to the pressure unit of “bar” or “psi”, depending on the
measuring range.
Via the menu, the instrument can be changed to 5 pressure units and 1 user-defined
unit, or (with the higher accuracy) an additional 15 predefined pressure and level units
and a further user-defined unit.
For a list of the available technical units of measurement, see chapter
11 “Specifications”.
To change the unit, proceed as follows under “Menu” / “Measure mode” / “Unit”:
1. Press the [LIGHT/▼] button or [ZERO/▲] button until the “▶” arrow points to the
desired unit.
2. Confirm the setting by pressing the [MENU/◀▶] button.
The instrument moves back one menu level.
Press the [HOME] button in order to exit the menu.
7.2.2 Peak values
When the Peak values function is set to “On”, the minimum and maximum pressures
are displayed in HOME on the third and fourth rows of the matrix field.
This function always displays the minimum and maximum pressure value.
Resolution and unit are identical to the main display.
