Why are there air bubbles in my Wilden Water Pump discharge?
    • C
      Christine Fernandez DVMJul 28, 2025
If you observe air bubbles in the Wilden Water Pump discharge, several factors could be at play. Begin by inspecting the diaphragms for any ruptures. Next, verify the tightness of the outer pistons. After that, check the tightness of all fasteners and the condition of O-rings and seals, with particular attention to the intake manifold. Finally, ensure all pipe connections are completely airtight.

      Ashley RamosAug 15, 2025
If your Wilden Water Pump runs but little or no product flows, check for pump cavitation. If cavitation is occurring, slow the pump speed down to allow thick material to flow into liquid chambers.

How to prevent my Wilden Water Pump air valve from freezing?
    • T
      tyrone02Aug 20, 2025
To address a frozen air valve in your Wilden Water Pump, check for excessive moisture in the compressed air. Consider installing a dryer or hot air generator for the compressed air. Alternatively, a coalescing filter may be used to remove water from the compressed air in some applications.

How to troubleshoot a Wilden Water Pump that won't run or runs slowly?
    • M
      Madison MurphyNov 1, 2025
If your Wilden Water Pump will not run or runs slowly, several issues could be the cause. First, ensure the air inlet pressure is at least 0.3 Bar (5 psig) above startup pressure and that the differential pressure is not less than 0.7 Bar (10 psig). Second, inspect the air inlet filter for any obstructions. Third, check for significant air leakage, which may indicate worn seals or bores in the air valve, pilot spool, or main shaft. Fourth, disassemble the pump to inspect for obstructions in the air passageways or any objects hindering the movement of internal parts. Fifth, if the material being pumped is incompatible with the pump elastomers, swelling may occur, so check for sticking ball check valves and replace them with proper elastomers. Also, worn check valve balls can become stuck in...
