Multitimbral Mode
TheOvertureIIIisabletoreceiveMIDIinformation
onupto16channelssimultaneously.Ifyouplan
touseyourpianowithamultitrackMIDIrecording
system,youcanrecordupto16dierentparts
usingtheOvertureIIIvoices,eachplayedback
individuallyondierentMIDIchannels.Toensure
yourrecordedpartisplayedbackwiththecorrect
voice,makesuretopressthevoicebuttonrstand
playyourpartsecond.
NOTE: Because the Overture III is receiving playback
information via MIDI, the currently selected voice
on the piano may not correspond to the voice being
played back.
Setting The MIDI Channel
1. Pressthe[FUNCTION]button.
2. TurntheValueDialtoselecttheMIDIChannel
editmenu.Thedisplaywillshow“MIDICh”.
3. PresstheFunctionbuttonagaintoenterthe
parametereditmenu.TheFUNCIndicatorwill
blinktoindicatethevalueiseditable.
4. TurntheValueDialtoselectMidiChannel.

MIDI Panic Reset
IfyourpianogetsaMIDI“StuckNote”,youcan
correctitwiththefollowing:
1. Pressthe[FUNCTION]button.
2. TurntheValueDialtoselectthePanicmenu.
Thedisplaywillshow“Panic”.
3. PresstheFunctionbuttontoactivatethe
panicfunction.Thedisplaywillshow“Reset
allControllers!”thenreturntotheMainVoice
screen.
Memory Autosave
WhenmodifyingthesettingsoftheWilliams
OvertureIII,thefollowingsettingswillbesavedafter
youturnothekeyboard:Reverb,Chorus(foreach
voice),MainVolume,LayerVolume,SplitVolume,
MIDIChannel,VelocityCurve,AutoPowerSetting,
VibratoSpeed,VibratoDepth,RotarySpeed,EQ
bass,EQtreble,SplitOctave,andSplitPoint.
Thesesettingscanbereturnedtodefaultby
performingafactoryreset.(pg.20)
