After assembling the bike according to the video, securing all components, having a certified mechanic check the assembly, and reading
this manual, follow these steps to turn on the bike and select a pedal assist level:
1.Test the battery lock safety. Make sure the battery is locked and the key is removed.
Note: Riding with a key in the battery may result in leg injury and damage to the key or lock mechanism. Always remove the key before
riding.
2.Confirm the handlebars are adjusted correctly, and the handlebar panel bolts and seatpost quick release are fully secured.
3.Locate the switch on the right side of the battery box and turn it on to start the bike.
4.Select the desired level of pedal assistance (PAS) between level 0 and 5 using the + and - on the LCD display. Level 1 is the lowest, and
level 5 is the highest. Level 0 means pedal assistance is inactive. Start at PAS level 0 or 1 and adjust as needed. Warning: Engaging high
levels of pedal assist can cause unexpected acceleration, leading to loss of control, serious injury, or death. Start at PAS level 0 or 1 to
minimize risk.
5.Begin riding cautiously. With proper safety gear and knowledge, you may operate your bike. On a flat surface, in a low gear (1 or 2),
most riders can start pedaling with PAS level 0 or 1. You may also use the throttle to accelerate and maintain speed.
6.Use the throttle next to the right handlebar grip by slowly rotating it towards you. Only use the throttle while on the bike. Note: The
throttle can be activated with a twist when the bike is powered on. Warning: Be cautious to avoid accidental throttle twists, which can lead
to sudden acceleration and loss of control. Keep one hand ready to squeeze the brake lever to cut off motor power. Power off the bike
before dismounting.
7.Before riding, check tire pressure, tread, chain, power, shift, brakes, lights, spokes, and pedals to ensure safe riding.
4. Start-up Procedure
1. Any time the battery is in key position A (power on, battery locked to the frame), the battery cannot be removed.
2. Any time the battery is in key position B (power off, battery unlocked from the frame), the battery must be removed from the bike
before moving or riding it. Ensure the key is removed before sliding the battery out of the mount.
NOTICE: You have to press the key in order to switch it to the unlock position.
