NOTE: On Model 24G, turn the Winterization
Valve 2 (located in the water service
center) to “Normal” position.
11. Replace the protective cap onto the end of the
antifreeze siphon tube to keep out insects or
debris when not in use.
Drain Water Heater
12. Turn off the Water Heater power switch
before draining the water heater tank to avoid
damage to the heating element.
13. Drain the water heater by removing the plug
from the base of the water heater tank,
accessible from the outside of the coach
(requires socket and ratchet).
14. Open the Pressure-Temperature Relief valve
at the top right portion of the tank to prevent
air locking in the tank while draining.
15. Reinstall the water heater drain plug and close
the P-T Relief valve when drained.
Fill Drainage System P-Traps
16. Pour about one cup of RV antifreeze down
each drain for the galley sink, lavatory sink,
and shower/tub. This fills the drain trap pipes
to prevent holding tank odors from entering
the coach during storage.
Dump and Clean Holding Tanks
17. Completely drain the sewage and waste water
holding tanks at an approved waste disposal
site. Drain the sewage tank first so the
following waste water can rinse any waste
solids from the dump outlet and sewer hose.
18. Close dump valves and refit the dust cap onto
the drain outlet.
This will inhibit rust formation on valve shafts
and prevent entry and contamination by
airborne debris, insects, and rodents.
Your drainage and fresh water systems are now
winterized.

To Winterize the Waste Pump
• Ensure that black and gray holding tanks are
completely empty.
• Pour 2 gallons of RV antifreeze down the
shower OR galley sink drain.
• Press and hold the Waste Pump switch for
approximately 5-10 seconds to get antifreeze
into the pump.
