INFLATOR GAUGE
WONDER SPA
IMPORTANT
To prevent excessive pressure from damaging the instrument,
duringtheinflationphasethemeasuringsystemisautomatically
excluded and the dial pointer returns to the reference (black
square). As soon as the handle is released, the pointer of the
dial will indicate the pressure value. It is recommended that
the tyre is inflated using short subsequent bursts of air/gas
andthedialischeckedfrequentlyuntiltherequiredpressure
is reached.
PHASE 4
Ifthedial(B)showsthatthereisexcessivepressureinthetyre,thisvaluecan
bereducedgraduallybypressingthedischargevalve(S).
PHASE 5
1. Press the lever (A) and remove the connection (X) from the tyre valve
payingattentionnottobendthevalvestem.
2. Replace, where present, the valve cap onto the valve stem.
WARNING
•Neverexceedthepressureindicatedbythetyremanufacturer.
•The recommended ination pressure is specied by the car
manufacturer and depends on various factors like the number
ofaxles,axleweightor,forexample,whenavehicleiscarrying
additional weight.
•Inationshouldbecarriedoutwhentyresarecold(bestbetween
15°and 25°C). Factors such as external temperature, stress and
speeddeterminechangesintyretemperatureandconsequently
changethetyrepressurevalue:forexample,atyreairtemperature
increase of 10°C corresponds to a pressure increase of approx. 10
kPa(0.1bar,1.5psi).Ifthepressureischeckedwhenthetyresare
warm, this should be taken into account and the pressure should
be corrected only if there is insucient pressure during these
typesofconditions.
IMPORTANT
Duringdeation,themeasuringsystemis excludedandthedial
hand is positioned on the reference (black square), so it is not
possibletodirectlymonitorthepressuredrop.Areadingcanbe
taken as soon as the discharge valve is released. It is recommended
thatthetyreisdeatedusingshortbursts,checkingthepressure
each time until the required pressure level is reached.
