Starting the Engine
Position your Wood Chipper on flat, dry
ground, and then stop the front wheel
with brake, make sure the machine
cannot be moved.

FUEL VALVE LEVER
2. To start a cold engine, move the
choke lever to the CLOSED positon.
[See Fig. 2]
To restart a warm engine, leave the
choke lever in the OPEN position.
CHOKE LEVER
1. Move the fuel valve lever to the ON
position. [See Fig. 1]
3. Move the throttle lever away
from the MIN position, about
1/3 of the way toward the
MAX position. [See Fig. 3]
4. Turn the engine to the ON position.

5. Pull the starter grip lightly until
you feel resistance, then pull
briskly. Return the started grip
gently. [See Fig. 5]
NOTE: Do not allow the starter
grip to snap back against the
engine. Return it gently to
prevent damage to the starter.

6. If the choke lever has been
moved to the CLOSED position to
start the engine, gradually move
it to the OPEN position as the
engine warms up.
