Clearing a Jam
Clearing a Jam
If the wood chipper gets jammed while chipping wood or branches, the
engine should be stopped. Clear the wood that is stuck in the roller and then
restart the engine.
Stop the engine and remove the
spark plug wire from the spark plug
for safety. Remove the bearing cover
by removing only the two nuts that
secure the cover. (yellow arrows)
Cover removed.
Using the tool provided, turn the
chipper drum counterclockwise to
release the jammed limb. Reattach the
bearing cover, clear the infeed bin of
all debris, reattach the spark plug wire
and continue chipping.
