What to do if the Woodward MSLC 9907-004 unit does not power up?
    • J
      Julia AndersonAug 10, 2025
If the Woodward Control Systems unit doesn't power up, check the +24 V power supply. Also, ensure the proper polarity of the +24 V power supply. Finally, make sure that the software PROMs are installed correctly.

    Matthew McneilAug 15, 2025
Why does the power factor of +1 indicated for a resistive load in Woodward Control Systems?
    • I
      Isaac GonzalezAug 15, 2025
If the power factor of +1 is indicated for a resistive load, it means the current transformer leads for that phase are reversed. To fix this, reverse the current transformer leads for the phase in question.

What to do if Woodward Control Systems unit freezes up after a short period of time?
    • D
      Darryl ChanAug 20, 2025
If the Woodward Control Systems unit freezes up after a short period, the cause may be a faulty LON PROM (U27). Check the number of active DSLC controls (Menu 0) immediately after power up. If there's an error, replace the LON PROM (U27).

Why phase currents do not track linearly across their entire range (Menus 6 & 7) in Woodward MSLC 9907-004?
    • A
      Ashley JohnsonAug 25, 2025
If phase currents do not track linearly across their entire range, the cause may be improper current transformer ratios. Check the transformers and settings in Menu 5 to ensure that they are the same.

Why phase or Bus voltages do not track linearly across their entire range (Menus 6 & 7) in Woodward MSLC 9907-004?
    • S

If phase or Bus voltages do not track linearly across their entire range, the cause may be improper potential transformer ratios. Check the transformers and settings in Menu 5 to ensure that they are the same.

    Jessica MorenoSep 4, 2025
Why power factor of ±0.5 indicated for a resistive load in Woodward Control Systems?
    • S
      Sophia ReidSep 4, 2025
If a power factor of ±0.5 is indicated for a resistive load, it means that the phase ordering of either the current or potential transformers is in the wrong order. Reverse the order of the two phases with negative power factors.
