Insert rod into handle and twist a quarter turn to lock.
Position the knife against the angle guide for sharpening.
Lightly pull the blade down and across the rod, maintaining the angle.
Perform 10 strokes on the left side, then 10 on the right side.
Align the coarse side of the rod with the angle guides.
Make 10 alternating strokes on each side using the coarse grit.
Align the fine (smooth) side of the rod with the angle guides.
Make 10 alternating strokes per side using the fine grit.
Remove the rod and set the blade vertically into the MicroForge slot.
Push the knife through once with firm downward pressure.
Make 10 alternating strokes on the fine ceramic rod.
