Why does my Worx WA0863 Landroid® run around near the ring-fence area?
    • K
      Kelsey McguireJul 28, 2025
Your Worx Control Unit Landroid® might run around near the ring-fence area due to several reasons: * The magnetic strip is too close to the boundary wire, or two ring-fence areas are too close to each other. Ensure there is at least 2m of space between the boundary wire and the magnetic strip, or between two ring-fence areas. * The magnetic strip is overlapping the boundary wire. Keep the magnetic strip 2m away from the boundary wire. * Interference may exist in the working area, possibly due to electric cables or iron pieces underground. Check for and remove any such interference.

If your Worx Control Unit Landroid® fails to recognize the magnetic strip and goes across it, consider these potential causes and solutions: * The magnetic strip loop might not be closed. Ensure every piece of magnetic strip inside the connector is no shorter than 20mm. * The connector might not be well joined. Check and ensure the connector is properly joined. * The magnetic strip might be buried too deep under ground, in a hole, or under concrete. Reposition the magnetic strip to lie flat on the ground. * The magnetic strip might not be working because the temperature is too high (more than 65°C). Wait until the temperature cools down.

Why does my Worx Control Unit Landroid® enter into the ring-fence area?
    • C
      Courtney WattsAug 12, 2025
Your Worx Control Unit Landroid® might enter the ring-fence area because it slips when drawing back and turning after recognizing the magnetic strip. To solve this, avoid placing the magnetic strip in areas where the Landroid® can slip, such as areas with slopes.
