Usage Features
The high-pressure cleaner offers several features for ease of use and versatility:
Assembly: The manual details the assembly process, including attaching the accessory plate, handle, water filter, and wheels (for WG601E/WG602E). It also covers the connection of the high-pressure hose to both the cleaner and the trigger gun.
Accessories:
- Lance: Used with various nozzles.
- Fixed Spray Nozzle: Provides a flat, high-pressure spray for general cleaning.
- Rotor (Turbo) Nozzle (WG601E/WG602E only): Delivers a high-pressure direct spray for tougher cleaning tasks.
- High Pressure Foam Nozzle: Provides detergent suds for deeper cleaning, used in conjunction with the fixed spray nozzle and lance.
- Patio Cleaner (WG602E only): Specialized attachment for cleaning floors, patios, and concrete, used with the lance. It features a regulator knob to adjust water pressure.
Trigger Gun: Equipped with a trigger lock to prevent accidental activation, ensuring safety when the cleaner is not in use or unattended.
Water Supply: The device can be connected to a potable water supply via a suitable water hose and filter. An alternative self-priming mechanism allows drawing water directly from a bucket or water tank, requiring careful monitoring of water levels to prevent the pump from running dry.
Operation:
- Pre-Operation Checks: Before each use, users must check the product, power cord, plug, and accessories for damage, and ensure accessories are properly attached. Air vents should be unobstructed.
- Starting: After connecting to water and power, the machine is switched on, the trigger lock is deactivated, and the trigger is pressed to initiate the water jet.
- Cleaning Techniques: The manual provides specific instructions for cleaning various surfaces:
- Vertical Walls: Recommends dissolving dirt with detergent first, then cleaning from bottom to top with the rotor nozzle at a minimum distance of 30cm.
- Wood and Vinyl Decks: Suggests rinsing at high pressure with the fixed spray nozzle (15-25cm distance) or increasing distance if using the rotor nozzle, especially for softer wood.
- Cement Patios, Stone, and Brick: Advises rinsing in sweeping motions with the nozzle 7-15cm away, increasing distance for direct spray or damaged grouting.
- Patio Cleaner (WG602E only): Used with the lance, allowing pressure adjustment for different surfaces.
- Cars, Boats, and Motorcycles: Recommends applying foam with the high-pressure foam nozzle, then rinsing with the fixed spray nozzle (at least 20cm distance). Emphasizes not cleaning the engine or motor with this product.
- Stopping: Release the trigger, turn off the machine and water supply, relieve pressure by pressing the trigger, and activate the trigger lock.
Maintenance Features
Regular maintenance is crucial for the device's longevity and safe operation:
General Maintenance:
- Always disconnect from power and allow the product to cool before inspection or maintenance.
- Inspect for damaged or worn parts before each use; do not operate if damaged.
- Clean the molded plastic housing with a soft brush and cloth, avoiding water, solvents, or polishes.
- Remove debris from motor cooling vents.
Filter Maintenance:
- The water filter/hose connector can be unscrewed from the back of the machine.
- The rubber seal and water filter can be removed using a blunt tool.
- Parts should be rinsed with clear water before reassembly.
Nozzle Maintenance:
- Dirt deposits can be removed from nozzles using a needle.
Decalcification:
- Calcium deposits can form over time, depending on water hardness.
- A mixture of one part vinegar or citric acid to two parts hot water (40°C) can be used to dissolve deposits.
- Detachable accessories should be soaked in this mixture for approximately 12 hours, then rinsed, dried, and stored.
Power Cord Replacement:
- If the power cord is damaged or worn, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, a service agent, or a similarly qualified person to avoid safety hazards. Users should not attempt to use a product with a damaged power cord.
Storage:
- Store the product in a secure, dry place out of reach of children.
- Do not place other objects on the product.
- If not using for a long period, dismantle accessories.
Troubleshooting: The manual includes a troubleshooting guide for common issues like the product not starting, not reaching full power, no water stream, excessive pressure fluctuations, water leakage, and excessive vibration/noise. It provides potential causes and recommended actions, emphasizing that complex repairs should be handled by qualified electricians/suppliers/manufacturers to avoid voiding the warranty.
