Configuration of the «EXPERT» curve settings:
Once the
EXPERT charging curve is activated, it is possible to cong-
ure the curve settings (type IU
0
I
0
U):
• Ucharge: Charging voltage adjustable between 12 and 16 V
(charging level 7)
• Icharge: Adjustable charging current from 10 A to 200 A for a
battery capacity of 100 Ah (level 6).
• Urecovery: Recovery voltage adjustable up to 30 V. If OFF is
entered, the recovery function is inactive (charging level2 and 4)
• Uoating: Adjustable oating voltage, dependent on the entered
rated U value. If OFF is entered, the oating function is inactive
(charging level9).
• T recovery: maximum time for recovery of the cells in short-circuit,
adjustable between 1 and 24 hours (charging level 2).
• T refresh: Duration of the refresh phase - adjustable between 1 and
12 hours. If OFF is entered, the refresh function is inactive (charging
level8)
• T desulfat: adjustable, maximum time of desulphation phase be-
tween 1 and 24 hours (charging level 8).
• T ch_max: maximum charging time (charging level 7 and 6).
• T ch_min: minimum charging time (charging level 7 and 6).
• Urefresh: maximum voltage during a refresh period (charging
level8).
• OCP (overload protection): adjustable, maximum percentage of
the battery capacity prior to protective switch-off (charging level 8).
CAUTION!
When charging a still installed battery, a too high
Urecovery or Urefresh voltage may damage the vehicle
electronics. In this case, these parameters should be not
be set with a value greater than 15 V.
f To save and activate the new settings, select ADVANCED MENU,
save and select Yes.
f Press Mode, to exit the settings menu.
