Protection functions
The device is protected against short-circuits and reverse connection.
It has a spark-protection system, which prevents spark formation
when connecting the clamps to the battery. For safety reasons, the
clamps are voltage-free when the device is connected to a battery.
The device is equipped with an internal 125 A fuse, which protects it
against incorrect handling.
