Intended use
This device is only to be used as an onboard supplier and rapid
charger for all common 12 V starter batteries.
Any other use is considered improper.
The user is responsible for damage resulting from
improper use.
Description
The device has 5 modes, of which two are hidden.
Ladung [Charging] mode: to charge starter batteries with an
acid or gel electrolyte (lead, lead-calcium, lead-calcium- silver,
AGM, etc.) at 20 to 1200 Ah and 12 V.
Diag + modes: the 100 A battery charger supports and sup-
plies the onboard battery during diagnostics of all electric
consumers up to 100 A (engine cooling, window-lift motors,
onboard electronics, etc.) when the engine is stationary. In this
mode, the voltage at the battery can be set according to the
specication of the respective manufacturer.
Showroom mode: supplies the battery with power during
presentation of a demonstration car with all consumers (win-
dow-lift motor, heating, exterior mirrors, etc.). In this mode, the
voltage at the battery can be set according to the specication
of the respective manufacturer.
Batterie tauschen [Battery change] mode: ensures a steady
onboard voltage during removal of the battery to prevent loss
of stored information. In the standard setting, this mode is not
activated and does not appear in the list of modes.
Power Supply mode: Suitable for experienced users. It is not
activated in the standard setting and does not appear in the list
of modes. This mode enables the use of the charger as a pow-
erful DC voltage source, the voltage and supplied maximum
current of which can be adjusted. Mode for experienced users.
The devices have an automatic restart function, so that, in the event
of a power failure, for example Ladung [Charging], Showroom or
Power Supply mode can be restarted. The function Lock Showroom
limits the adjustment options to a minimum, to prevent incorrect oper-
ation of display vehicles.
