Connection/disconnection
f Disconnect the device from the power network before connecting
or disconnecting cables and clamps.
f Always ensure that the red clamp is rst connected to the + ter-
minal of the battery If it is necessary to connect the black clamp
to the vehicle body, ensure that there is a safe distance between
the battery and fuel tank/exhaust. During charging ensure that
there is a readily accessible mains supply.
f At the end of charging, note the following: First disconnect the
device from the mains and only then disconnect the clamps from
the battery.
LADUNG [CHARGING] mode
The device enables safe charging of the battery, even when it
remains in the vehicle.
Note
Adjust the charger correctly before starting (battery
voltage, charging curve and battery capacity).
Various charging curves can be selected:
Easy
Simple charging curve, suitable for all lead batteries and for
batteries where the capacity is not known However, for opti-
mum charging it is better if the liquid or Gel/AGM charging
curve is used.
Wet
Charging curve for valve regulated batteries (lead, lead-cal-
cium, lead-calcium-silver, etc.). The battery capacity must be
selected in Ah for this charging curve.
Gel/AGM
Charging curve for maintenance-free batteries (Gel, AGM…).
The battery capacity must be selected in Ah for this charging
curve.

If the battery is fully charged (100 %) and remains connected, the
charging state of the battery is maintained by Floating mode.
During charging, the electricity consumption of the vehicle should be
reduced to a minimum (switch o main beam, engine, close doors),
so that charging is not interrupted.
CAUTION!
As necessary, check the acid content of the battery prior
to charging.
