DIAG+ modes
During diagnostics with the engine switched o, the device maintains
the power supply of the onboard battery for electrical consumers
(engine cooling, window-lift motors, onboard electronics, etc.) up to
100 A. It maintains a constant voltage from - 12 V to 14.8 V
Voltage adjustment:
The voltage at the battery can be adjusted in 0.1 V steps according
to the specication of the manufacturer in question.

f Connect the charging clamps: red (+) and black (-) to the battery.
f Press the START/STOP button.
f The instantaneous consumed current and the instantaneous
voltage are displayed.

CAUTION!
If the current indicated is higher than 10A, then the
battery is discharged. The device starts charging
automatically. Check that all vehicle electrical consumers
are switched o. Wait until the current is below 10 A,
before you carry out the diagnostics.
SHOWROOM mode
With the engine o, the device enables the use of electrical consum-
ers (engine cooling, window-lift motors, onboard electronics, etc.)
with a constant current of up to 100 A at an adjustable voltage from
12 V to 14.8 V
Voltage adjustment range:
It is possible to adjust voltage at the battery in 0.1 V steps according
to the specication of the manufacturer in question.

Connection without battery (not recommended):
f It is possible to supply the vehicle with current without the battery
being connected, by pressing the START/STOP button for three
seconds.
3 No battery appears on the display before the vehicle is
supplied.
