exceptional case Disposal for
The is looking forward to a normal response when it sends every inquiry to slave, except the broadcast. For host
inquiry, it might have one of the following four cases :
host
1 When slave receives inquiry normally and there is no error, it will return a normal response .
2 When slave does not receive inquiry due to communication error, it will not return any response. The host will deal
with the as overtime at finally.

3 When slave receives inquiry but meets communication error( ), it will not return any
response too. The host

4 When slave receives inquiry and there is no communication error, but it can’t carry out(

host. The exceptional case has other two fields to distinguish from the normal response .

the host can identify exceptional case response and check the data field at the same time.

exceptional case responses , the slave will return a exceptional case code in the data field . It can show how the
happens to the slave. The following figure is an example that exceptional case responds to the host inquiry.
