TIPS FOR DIFFERENTIALS
To make sure that all the air is removed from the diff oil, we recommend
using the HUDY Air Vac.
If softer oil is used, the car has better
rotation, but traction decreases.
If harder oil is used, the car has more
forward traction and is more stable, but
rotation decreases.

Fill differential up to the top of the diff pin.
DO NOT fill the diff to the top of the housing.
If the cross does not enter into the
diff freely, use fine sand paper to
lightly polish the ends of the cross.
TO ENSURE YOU HAVE THE SAME AMOUNT OF OIL FROM REBUILD TO REBUILD, DO THE FOLLOWING:

NOTE
ORIENTATION
If the diff is not turning freely after
assembly, use thin sand paper to
lightly polish the surface.
➊ Put the diff (without oil) on the scale and check the
weight (approximately 9.50g)

Slowly pour oil into the diff and watch the weight. Add 1.50g of oil
into the diff. The approximate weight of the diff including oil is 11.00g.
9.50g + 1.50g = 11.00g
