Why has normalization failed in my Xtralis VESDA VLC-400 Smoke Alarm?
If there was an error during the Normalization process of your Xtralis Smoke Alarm, investigate whether there are differential pressures between the protected area and the detector that exceed 50Pa. Ensure that there are enough sampling holes – the minimum for standard configurations is 3 holes. Ensure the exhaust bung is removed. Introduce backventing if necessary.
How to troubleshoot an aspirator failure in Xtralis Smoke Alarm?
If the aspirator of your Xtralis Smoke Alarm has failed or is not functioning correctly, check the cable. If it is OK, contact your local Xtralis representative for a replacement aspirator.
