3. Fit the O-ring.
Fit the washers also.
4. Press the suction cover against the impeller.
5. Tighten the adjusting nuts so that they lie flush against the suction cover.

6. Back off all adjusting nuts another half turn (counter-clockwise).
7. Place washers and nuts on the studs. Tighten the nuts evenly all around.
8. Check that the impeller can rotate freely.
The impeller clearance should be 0.2–0.3 mm (0.008–0.012 in) when the impeller is
tightened.
9. Version code 590, 690 and 691: Lock the nuts with tab washers.
10. Install the strainer.
6.4.10 Replace the diffuser
1. Remove the diffuser:
a) Remove the impeller, see previous instructions.
b) Remove the screws and washers.
