BaseLine Tower Install
STEP INSTRUCTION
1
Insert bar seat into tower (it will snap into place)

Install bar adapter to tower using pitch bolt with only enough turns to get the bolt started

Slide towers onto bars
a. With JetStream ensure the tabs from the bar seat are inserted into the T-slot

Record all Measurements and adjustments onto your Installation Compass sheet.
a. The M’s can be found in the BaseClip instructions or at fitlookup.yakima.com

Set the towers for front bar to M1, set the towers for the rear bar to M3

Set the towers for front bar to P1 and tighten pitch bolt to torque, set the towers for rear
bar to P2 and tighten pitch bolt to torque

Install foot pads onto front and rear towers taking care that the front and rear pads are on the correct bar set

Set the front towers to T1 and rear towers to T2 then tighten toe bolts to torque
9
For JetStream only cut and install the infill

Set Base Rack system on roof using M2 and M4 with special attention to left to right balance
(stepped pads may have a gap)

Ensure the swing and drive bolts are backed off all the way.

Install the clips into the clip carriers referring to Installation Compass sheet or BaseClip instructions for
proper clip location

Adjust the swing and drive bolts until all 4 clips are touching the car
14
Evenly bring the swing bolts up to torque
15
Evenly bring the drive bolts up to torque

Install end caps
