You will need a measuring tape or ruler for installation.
Do not exceed your rack's weight limit. Check your owner's manual.
Do not exceed the box content weight limit of 110 lbs (50 kg).
Measure distance between crossbars. Position bars for Long Boxes or SpaceCadet.
Push plugs into unused holes and attach adhesive pads to metallic plates inside the box.
Insert carriage or T-bolts through brackets and plates on the outside of the box.
Swing brackets into position under bars and attach brackets to T-bolts. Lock T-bolts.
Tighten the knobs until the box cannot slide on bars, but do not overtighten.
Grab lid strap and pull lid down until it clicks securely.
Check latches produce an audible click and ensure box is secure by tugging.
Use caution when opening your hatch if interference is unavoidable.
Loosen knobs, unlock T-bolts, let brackets swing freely, then remove box.
Periodically check and tighten the knobs inside the box if necessary.
