2. Error Messages That Occur During Main Unit Operation
Error messages may appear and the related section may stop operating if the drive
unit temperature rises exceedingly, or components stop communicating with each
other during operation. The appropriate remedy should be carried out.
If one of the following messages appears along with “PRESS STOP KEY” in the third
line of the display, press the STOP button to cancel the message.
Operation, which has been stopped, is not restored until the remedy is carried out.
Error Messages Situation Remedy
Key Drive thermo error
The temperature in the key drive exceeds
100º C.
Switch the power OFF.
Wait until the temperature inside of the unit
drops, and then switch the power ON again.
Check and adjust keyboard and action
(sticking, etc.) operation.
Check key solenoid (sticking, etc.) operation.
KD ASIC error
Communication is lost between the key
drive unit and CSP unit.
Check the cable used to connect the key drive
unit and the CSP unit.
Loud PD thermo error
The temperature in the loud pedal
solenoid exceeds 120ºC.
Switch the power OFF.
Wait until the temperature inside of the
solenoid drops, and then switch the power ON
again.
Soft PD thermo error
The temperature in the soft pedal
solenoid exceeds 120ºC.
KD/PD Connection error
The cable on the key drive unit or pedal
drive unit is faulty.
Check the cable used to connect the key drive
unit or pedal drive unit.
Key drive table error
The table for keyboard measurement is
damaged (this includes cases in which
the CSP sheet has just been replaced but
measurement how not been carried out).
Carry out the measurement.
Check the CSP Unit.
KS line disconnected
Communication is lost between the key
sensor unit and the CSP unit.
Check the cable used to connect the key drive
unit and the CSP unit.
