3.Error Messages that Occur During Measurement
The following error messages may appear when an error occurs during or after
measuring in the service center mode.
Carry out the appropriate remedy.
During Sensor Management
Error Messages Situation Remedy
E1:KS REST AD is too low
The rest value is too low (too dark). Check the key sensor’s height adjustment.
Check the sensor head position and key shutter.
Carry out the measurement again.
E1:KS END AD is too high
The end value is too high (the
difference between the rest and end
value is too low).
Check the key adjustment (pay particular
attention to uneven keys in the balance section).
Check the key rail adjustment (the space
between the key rail and the keyboard is not
large enough).
Check the key sensor’s height adjustment.
Check sensor head position and key shutter.
Carry out the measurement again.
During Pedal Measurement
Error Messages Situation Remedy
Loud Stroke : E1
Damper pedal stroke is short.
Playback with backup table.
Pedal adjustment.
Re-measure.
Soft Stroke : E1
Shift pedal stroke is short.
Playback with backup table.
Pedal adjustment.
Re-measure.
Calibration : E1
Cannot determine half point.
Playback with backup table.
Pedal adjustment.
