The above warning labels mean as follows.

EWM01691
Emergency starting does not have start-
in-gear protection. Ensure shift control is
in neutral before starting engine.

● Keep hands, hair, and clothing away
from rotating parts while the engine is
running.
● Do not touch or remove electrical parts
when starting or during operation.

● Read Owner’s Manuals and labels.
● Wear an approved personal flotation de-
vice (PFD).
● Attach engine shut-off cord (lanyard) to
your PFD, arm, or leg so the engine
stops if you accidentally leave the helm,
which could prevent a runaway boat.

Gasoline is highly flammable and explo-
sive. Shut off engine before refueling.
Tighten tank cap and air vent valve when
not in use.
