CARBURETOR
ASSEMBLING THE CARBURETOR
1. Install:

Needle valve 3

Float 1

Float pin 2
NOTE:

When setting the float 1 into the
carburetor body, hook the needle valve 3
into the float 1 and insert the needle
valve seat.

Tap float pin 2 in the direction of arrow a
of carburetor body 4 and with a pin to
install.

After installation,make sure that the float
1 operates smoothly.
2. Measure:

Float hight

Out of specification
ī˜‚
Replace.
NOTE:

Make sure to tilt the carburetor body
clockwise 45° for needle valve with spring
no load, when measuring the float height


Take measurement at the side end of the
float, as shown.
ADJUSTING THE CARBURETOR
Adjust:

Pilot screw
Refer to ā€œADJUSTING THE ENGINE
IDLING SPEEDā€ on page 3-10.
Float height

19.0 - 20.0 mm (0.75 - 0.79 in)
