      If pressing the foot switch cuts off the sound and releasing it sustains the sounds on your Yamaha Synthesizer, the polarity of the foot switch is reversed. Make sure that the foot switch plug is properly connected to the [SUSTAIN PEDAL] jack before turning on the power. Do not press the pedal while turning the power on.
