What to do if the volume of my Yamaha Musical Instrument is too soft?
    • R
      Richard RobertsAug 18, 2025
If the volume is too soft, the sound quality is poor, the rhythm stops unexpectedly, or a Song does not play correctly on your Yamaha Musical Instrument, the batteries may be low or dead. Replace all six batteries with completely new ones, or use the optional AC adapter.

Why does the style not sound properly on my Yamaha PSR-E223 YPT-220?
    • S
      Samantha RiveraAug 26, 2025
If the Style does not sound properly on your Yamaha Musical Instrument: * Make sure that the Style Volume is set to an appropriate level. * Verify that the Split Point is set at an appropriate key for the chords you are playing and that the 'ACMP ON' indicator is showing in the display. If it is not showing, press the [ACMP ON/OFF] button so that it does show. * Note that the auto accompaniment will sometimes not change when related chords are played in sequence (e.g. some minor chords followed by the minor seventh). Two-note fingerings will produce a chord based on the previously played chord. Playing two same root keys in the adjacent octaves produces accompaniment based only on the root.
