Ensure the [ON] key for the channel is activated and the fader or volume is raised. If using a condenser mic, verify that phantom power is enabled both via the '+48V Master' setting on the SYSTEM SETUP screen and on the corresponding INPUT screen. Also, check the MUTE keys to ensure mute is off, and verify that the GATE settings are not applying too much gate.

Also, check that the UNIT ID switch, QUICK CONFIG switch, and DIP switches on the rear panel of the Tio1608-D are in the correct positions. Finally, ensure that Dante patch settings are configured: if using Quick Config, make sure the QUICK CONFIG switch on the Tio1608-D is on and the Quick Config button on the console's SLOT SETUP screen is on; otherwise, use Dante Controller to configure the Dante patch settings. Lastly, ensure that the Dante Device Configuration for the Tio1608-D or NY64-D is correct.

  If you cannot control the Tio1608-D headamp from the Yamaha Music Mixer console, but audio input/output is functioning, first ensure that the console's HA Control is turned on via the HA button on the console's SLOT SETUP screen. Make sure there are only two consoles or R Remote applications on the Dante network that can control the Tio1608-D headamp, and then restart the Tio1608-D. Finally, check that the INPUT SELECT on the console's INPUT screen is set to SLOT.
