Why is there no sound coming from my Yamaha Music Mixer?

If you're experiencing no sound with your Yamaha Music Mixer, there are several potential causes. First, check that the port settings on the INPUT screen are correct. Ensure the [ON] key for the channel is activated and the fader or volume is raised. If using a condenser mic, verify that phantom power is enabled both via the '+48V Master' setting on the SYSTEM SETUP screen and on the corresponding INPUT screen. Also, check the MUTE keys to ensure mute is off, and verify that the GATE settings are not applying too much gate.
