(1) Stop the engine.
(2) Remove the top cowling.
(3) Disconnect the water detection switch
coupler. NOTICE: Be careful not to get
any water on the water detection
switch coupler, otherwise a malfunc-
tion could occur.

(4) Remove the cover.
(5) Remove the hose holder, and then re-
move the fuel filter from its holder.
