Engine serial number
The engine serial number is stamped on a
plate attached to the engine unit. (See page
44 for seat removal and installation proce-
dures and page 48 for information on the seat
storage compartment.)

Emission control information
This engine conforms to U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA) and/or California Air
Resources Board (CARB) regulations for ma-
rine SI engines applicable at the time of man-
ufacture.
This engine is certified to operate on regular
unleaded gasoline.

certificate
This label is attached to the top of the cylin-
der head and to the inside of the engine com-
partment. (See page 44 for seat removal and
installation procedures, page 48 for informa-
tion on the seat storage compartment, and
